The Hindu FOOT-TAPPING FARE: A dance performance organised as part of Big Tamil Entertainment Awards in Chennai on Saturday.
Keeping in tune with the election season, most of the award winners at the first-ever Big Tamil Entertainment Awards, organised here on Saturday, said “each and every one of your votes mattered.”
The awards, instituted by BIG FM, covered four broad categories of entertainment - cinema, television, sports and the arts.
In the film music category, Yuvan Shankar Raja got the award for his score in ‘Paiyya', Na.Muthukumar got the best lyricist award and Chinmayi bagged the Most Entertaining Playback Singer Award for Her Mellifluous Rendition of ‘Poove Poove'.
